Q: What are the prices of your homes? A: Our log home prices are comparable to a quality built stick frame home. The price is derived dependant upon the simplicity or intricate nature of your design.
Q: Are your log homes energy efficient? A: Yes! A log home has a different term than an R-Value(reflective value), as a stick frame house does. Log homes have what is called thermal inertia, which in short means they have a more regulated temperature than another type of house. The logs are able to absorb temperature rather than reflect it. All of our log homes are energy star certified and come with an official certificate from the US Department of Energy. There are significant tax credit incentives offered for energy star homes, not to mention the savings in heating and cooling that you will experience.
Q: Are log homes maintenance friendly? A: There have been tremendous advancements in log home maintenance and durability over the past 40 years. The maintenance system that we use was developed by the Sansin Corporation and incorporates state of the art nano technology anchored in the principals that were used by the Vikings to preserve the Stave churches which have been standing more than 1,000 years.
